Beck Farris (any pronouns) is a Texas-raised NYC-based playwright and performer. They graduated from Marymount Manhattan College, where they received the Golden Key in Playwriting. Beck writes queer plays about human connection, often featuring ghosts and dream sequences. Their work has been performed at The Chain Theatre, The Vino Theater, Cre8ive NYC, the Marymount Manhattan College Blackbox, the New York City Center Studios, and the Lynn F. Angelson Theater (better known as Classic Stage Company) with SheNYC Arts. They were a semifinalist for the 2025 Princess Grace Award, and a member of Ghost Light Theatre Company's 2025 Bright Lights Cohort. They are an ecstatic member of À La Carte Writers Workshop, a group that champions new play development and production. Beck is also known for being a Scorpio sun AND moon, and once winning cashier of the month at Lowe's Home Improvement.
